A disturbing video showing the moment a woman beat a child with slippers has surfaced online and sparked outrage.

In a video of about 25 seconds captured by a neighbour, the woman was seen beating a child with slippers while trying to bath him.

She repeatedly beat the child with no mercy what so ever. Although, it is no comfirmed if she is the biological mother of the child.

Her action has since sparked outrage from Nigerians who has called for her arrest and prosecution.
