But for his ingenuity, tenacity, foresight and most importantly, the special grace of Almighty and his unspeakable love for the people of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte Federal Constituency, Hon. Emeka Chinedu would have either remained a political neophyte or collosal failure thereby dashing the hope of his Constituents, who fought heavily to liberate Ahiazu and Ezinihitte from the claws of stagnation and despicable representation in 2019. This was as predicted and programmed by detractors whose position was like, 'ka anyi lewe nu how he is going to succeed or make a difference in the face of adversity, especially since our eyes, hands and legs are ready to bring him down at all cost, at least, all of us MUST be failures. Abi na only me go fail?".

Funnily enough, after securing the 2019 overwhelming victory while in Imo State High Court, courtesy of then opponent, the election tribunal was also awaiting the man whose gentle mien ironically made an albatross of his traducers: once in the State High Court, once in the Tribunal, twice in the Appeal Court - finally to the Supreme Court - where his victory was resoundingly sealed to the glory of the almighty, whose unbeknownst purpose for His people was Change in Narratives, that is anchored on elevation of mankind and society at large.

By the time he stepped into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly, they had already lobbied themselves in, to serve in no matter inconsequential, or unproductive capacity. The afformentioned was calculated with desperate intent to monitor and distract him, pursuant to 2023 elections. It was nothing but the handiwork of individuals whose proclivity for self-aggrandizement blindfolded to look at the official seat of Ahiazu Mbaise/Ezinihitte federal Constituency, as personal property to be kept for eternity and self aggrandizement.

When they however discovered to their utmost perplexity, that, the legislative tactician, was not only bringing a revolutionary flair to constituency representation, but also, literally giving our people a new normal, it downed on them that he is unlikely to fail or be distracted as planned, if allowed to continue in his legislative exploits. There and then, re-sorting to self help, in order to drastically reduce his growing influence through PROPAGANDA, DECEIT, FALSEHOOD, DOCTORATION OF DOCUMENTS(changing of headings and bodies of his Bills for an Act, and Motions already submitted to the appropriate authorities), with intent to pitch him against IPOB boys, became the order of the day.

It suffices to state that the level of persecution Hon. Emeka Chinedu encountered in this 9th Assembly, was as unprecedented as the performance that fetched him unanimous endorsement for the sole candidate of his party, and the first of its kind in the chequered political history of Imo State.

I want to believe that the idea to pitch him against the IPOB boys was informed by the once-upon-a-time unfortunate incident where one of his Campaign Buses, was set ablaze, by boys suspected to be misguided - something he did not take seriously, for the fact that people's properties and more importantly - innocent souls were equally affected at the time insecurity was said to be at its peak in Imo State.

Hon. Emeka Chinedu, an opposition in the National Assembly, yet dominated National discourse, maintained up to date relationship with fellow Constituents; and was available in almost all Constituency activities, including infrastructural revolution, yet dished out intellectual Properties such as Press Statements, Motions, Bills, as well as made provisions for palliatives, cash donations and, special gifts to institutions and individuals just to cushion the devasting effect of then novel Covid-19 pandemic.

My people, that such stories were not told at the time was as a result of the dumbfounding thick skin of the incumbent Lawmaker, whose passion for performance was obviously irreducible by any shenanigans of a few, whose failures for many years in public office, was deserving of nothing but comprehensive apology.


That our people are becoming more concerned and interested in the federal Constituency without paying much attention to what happens in the State or Local Government today, can be glimpsed from the manner in which Hon. Emeka Chinedu's wonderful performance has led to people believing that their expectations can only be met by the likes of the unassuming him, not minding the office, the pay cheque or the capacity, as Facebook activities on his official page are replate with comments and commentaries - directing and insisting on him to do something about this and that Road without recourse to the fact that he neither has anything close to such budget nor executive power - and that if we are to rapidly develop as a people, we must have responsible and responsive LGA Administration and State Governors.

Unfortunately, his traducers are all manning such positions and praising failures to high heavens, hence the calculated, choreographed and dubiously rehearsed attempt to sell to the electorate, that a federal Lawmaker can work in isolation, break-through the CBN, take over the Leadership of the National Assembly, be the spokesperson, as well as the Minister of all the Ministries including DGs, or pull down the Walls of Aso Rock to become the President or execute the functions of the Presidency with reckless abandonment, something that are evidently lacking in their insensitive, irresponsible and irresponsive circle.

It suffices to advise that upcoming public office holders must learn from the man(Hon. Emeka Chinedu), who defied all odds, and will continue to defy their present shenanigans and dead on arrival ambition to affect the society and humanity in just few years in politics.

And If we can simply tell ourselves the truth( though, I do not expect any from people who have sold their souls to Lucifer, to the extent of perfecting a way to sabotage and reduce the growing influence of their own, as a result of envy and "we all must be failures", it should be understood that, beyond changing the Narratives in Ahiazu Mbaise/ Ezinihitte federal Constituency, Nwachinemere as he is fondly called by teeming supporters and well-wishers, must not only be re- elected without much ado for proper consolidation in the changing narratives, but also, have his name engraved in gold as he, whose tenure, was able to lay a new/solid political foundation for this generation and that yet unborn.

However, they can shout, bark, and display all forms of Media rascality to Bermuda Triangle, we agree and will obling them the license to wail profusely, including the use of deception and brigandage. Nothing different was expected of them.
