Hi guys,

My niece is processing her admission for a post-graduate course in a foreign University but we just discovered that her NECO carries the short form of her name "Anne" while her Degree and NYSC certs bears full spelling "Hannah".

We are all worried right now and don't know what to do.

Can she still go ahead and submit the documents like?

Can the names be corrected by NECO?

What are the legal implications in the future if she fails to correct the error now?

Please Lawyers in the house and Educators should drop your pieces of advice here.
