In preparation to commemorate this year’s Independence Day which holds annually on October 1st, tourists and fun-lovers across the country have started putting together a bucket list of exciting locations to visit with family and friends.

Amusement parks, eateries, bars, waterparks, zoos, and resorts are some of the favourite spots that attract massive attendance.

Park Vega Waterpark emerges as one of the most significant locations during these special occasions such as Christmas, New Year, Valentine, Easter, Eid Al Fitr, and Independence Day, among other notable days.

Some guests who are regular at the park have said they plan to spend the national day with their family at the waterpark located in Agbor, Delta State.

Nneka, a lady who visited with a large company of friends and family members, a total of 16 people, said, “I love the wave pool so much that I can stay the whole day here. When I came sometime on January 6th, they did not open one of the slides because of a routine maintenance and safety procedure. The chicken and chips are so nice that we always take some away to snack on when going home even after eating lots of them in the park. My family and I love it so much and we will be here on October 1 to celebrate independence.”

The park has lined up a series of activities for guests on October 1.

Another guest, Obinna, who visited the park for the first time said he would be back on Independence Day as he had a fun experience with friends. “The free fall is my best attraction because it was mind-blowing how I glided from the top to the bottom and I felt like a child once again. The food was extremely delicious, especially the Chicken and chips.”
