As regards the one inch camera,I believe you should watch Jerry rig video about the 12s ultra to understand more as regards that,it was basically based on old model photography calculations jargons I really can't explain ATM.thou it was Xiaomi marketing strong hold for the device,but still on the matter,a phone's camera still won't out-do a professional camera in my opinion.

As regards the cons

The screen is not what is getting scratched,I believe it is the factory nylon screen protective layer applied to protect the phone while it's been shipped,or have you had that peeled off?

Camera at low light zero,have you tried night mode during those low light situations?
well I don't know much about photography,but I believe every camera no matter how bad,if it sees good source of natural light,results can be amazing,

As regards price,you are an early bird oo.so you paid early bird price,you for chill 6 months and watch the price crash,just that it might be scarce,making it even more expensive,Xiaomi tends to have such trends.

Finally as regards tempered glass,you would need to order a special type of tempered glass for curved screen phones,
It's called UV tempered glass,it uses liquid and UV light to cure and fix,that's your best bet.

Kindly note,this are my personal opinions,and based on the amount you spent to buy the phone,I just wanted you to see something positive about it,I am in no way a direct marketer,even thou I sell Xiaomi phones.i believe you must have made a bit of research and watched hands on videos befor deciding to make the purchase.

Comparing with my wife's Google Pixel 6 and my iPhone SE 3rd Gen.

I think I will have to post camera samples from both phones for better understanding.

It stated that it is good in dealing with motion blur. But that was quite the opposite.

Check out the colour of the tiles closely. It's life like. The xiaomi didn't do justice to the colour.

iPhone picture is over saturated and not nearly real life colour. The shadows coming from the 12s makes it more realistic. About the ties, this has to do with auto focus. 12s tends to focus its power on the box rather than the ties. With time you shall understand the camera better.

Try samsung products. Check out gsmarena but the only con for samsung is the screen, once it cracks you know that screen is outrageously expensive.
