Obi said a thing, which gave me hope about Nigeria.... PRODUCTIVITY

No country survives without being productive. Oil money can't sustain us. See our currency today. We have vast lands all over the country but nothing is being grown there. Along Lagos Ibadan Expressway, Benin Ore Expressway, Onitsha-Enugu highway, Keffi-Jos-Yobe highway...in fact you could travel 6 hours along adamawa-taraba highway without seeing a single hut. It's all forest. Yet, we import virtually all we eat, including rice.

The current administration closed the border for 2 solid years cos of rice import without making alternative arrangements to cushion the likely effects for the period. No agric loan to unemployed graduates , no farm settlements, no agric subvention, no skils acquisition programmes on growing improved yields of rice and modern production of same in place, etc. A reasonable government would go to Thailand and study their system. How they thrive in this business and used rice proceeds to grow their economy for decades etc. They just went and closed border claiming it would strengthen our naira. Yet, naira keeps depreciating. A dollar is 735 today. They kept shifting blames here and there for their failures and emefiele said it was aboki fx speculation that caused naira to keep depreciating. Aboki fx isn't there anymore yet, dollar rate hasn't stopped going up.

In late 70s, Indonesia came to Nigeria to learn of how Nigeria did it. They came to learn of how to grow oil palm. Gen. Obasanjo was the head of state then. They spent some days and took some seedlings along. Today, Indonesia is the world largest exporters of Palm Oil. That's a serious-minded country. Shamefully, Nigerians import palm oil from Indonesia today. Na bad leadership cause am. OAU was built with cocoa proceeds, ABU with groundnuts and cotton, etc.

The problem of Nigeria is leadership. The time to get it right is now. Our leaders caused all the divisions as seen today. We have all it takes to become a productive nation..massive and fertile land, population. In fact, most of the EU countries wished they had our kind of population. They'd have made the best of it. Each time I go to Germany, my partners always complain, that their workforce is filled with old people...ageing population. They apply fertiliser on every crop grown. Nigeria is just populated for nothing. My friend travelled to America some years back. We left together. When he got to America, he stayed. He was overworking himself, doing 2-3 jobs in a week. He broke down one day. I told him guy, you wan die ni? He said he's been counting celining for years in naija cos no job. He wanted doing farming but no loan from banks he doesn't have collateral. He said orę, ję kin breakdown jare cheesy(meaning friend,.let me breakdown pls) . You can now wonder how much he'd have made and contributed to the economy, had he applied same energy working for himself back home.

Tinubu could have bragged of some development but the environment made it happen. He met those templates already in place. Virtually all corporate headquarters are in my state, oil and gas too. Was it tinubu who wooed them to lagos? What of SMEs? Gulf oil now chevron had been there since the days of Pa Jakande. He started and drew the master plan of the lagos literail they're talking about today. He wanted connecting every part of lagos with rail after completing the then largest housing in Africa. He finished the housing in less than 3 years and gave a timeline of 8 years for the lagos literail before buhari coup stopped him...he'd have achieved it. He opened up lekki and epe road. One of his estates is in same area till date in the area and bus stop called Jakande. He died without owning a single helicopter.
Let tinubu go to Anambra and develop it too naw, a state where there was nothing before Obi came and turned their IGR around, a state with such a small population. Lagos was safer decades ago than it is today. Anyone who's fallen victim of attacks would bear a witness to this. Lagos development can be credited to the successive governors who had served here, not one man. I wish Buba Marwa had done 8 years in Lag. There'd have been discipline and far more development than what we see today. He remains my fav, after ambode.

Vote Obi for a prosperous Nigeria. Ire oo!

So, Wine and ketchup is what you term virtually everything, right? I can understand. Wine materials and apple can't thrive in our climate, just so you know. Go and check that. Ordinary toothpick, we import. We can produce it here

Most of the people pushing EscoBAT do not know there's an agenda to just install him by fire by force, and when he is tired and sick before 2 years, Shettima will be sworn-in as President and more Kabiru Sokoto will be hiding in his house.

Even Yaradua was way stronger than him before he became president.

Fear of Biafra is what's leading all these Igbo haters to embrace Peter Obi. It's nothing about love for Igbos or Peter Obi's competency. Nothing of that nature. All of a sudden they are all showing love and concern for Igbo presidency which they all swore never to happen. But seeing that Biafra's restoration is imminent, all of them are shouting Obideint in an effort to help suppress Biafra, but in the end, all your efforts will fail and Biafra will be restored.

And how will one of the biggest importers of finished goods improve productivity in Nigeria?...he will be exporting jobs to those countries he is importing from and improving their productivity now.
There's no way naira wont get to 700naira plus if we import so much of and export so little.
Nigeria is the biggest economy in Africa with room for great improvement with the right policies....a net importer wont provide such policies ......OBI is likely to ponder to bretton woods institutions who would only fill his head with globalization agenda which clearly isnt the way to improving productivity

Another ipob coward claiming Yoruba just to fool and deceive himself.

When you lay out problem and rule out other candidates capacity and qualifications to handle the problems with your preferd reasons why they can not, but picked your own better candidate to solve the problems, then, shouldn't you in the same breath state the reasons why the candidate you picked is better based on whatever metrics you used from his qualifications, records and achievements as a public official and a private citizen, this is what sane, intelligent and logical people do.

Obi imports wines apple and ketchup. Wine and apple can't grow well in our climate so, its in order. Or have you seen apple grow in any part of Nigeria before? Show me one, leaves used in making wine too. The man who experimented apple plantation in Jos ended up giving up cos of fluctuating weather conditions. You'd only find such in extremely cold regions.

Wines Apple's and ketchup ARE FOREIGN GOODS...MEANT for the RICH. I've said it several times PO belongs to the Bourgeois Class and Wont really understand what the poor are going through.....he is a billionaire

what happens to him investing in growing our local tomato pepper onions and package them for local and foreign consumption.....what business does a man that has not eaten 3 times a day have with expensive foreign wines and champagne?.
There are tons of naturally endowed african fruits that grow and wastes all over the place but PO decides its apples that dont grow here that he will import....why will a poor man go for expensive imported apples when he has heap home grown oranges and banana to eat....let people whose climate is good for growing apples grow and consume apples .
Then una dey wonder why dollars dey head to 1000.....we import things we can grow abundantly wasting scarce forex on frivolous apples and wines ....who dat epp
