Who owns the largest shares@oando
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (that's why one of his close relatives Wale Tinubu)is the MD.
NNPC I hail thee!!!
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t do, you ipobians will always find an excuse to wail.

Have you inquired the real reason Peter Obi went and invested Anambra State’s money in his family owned business?

Nonsense hypocrite like your lonesome.

You dey mind the sakamanje looters with Abacha’s PTF associate of IntegriThief as petroleum minister who replaced Diezani. Only God knows what ThiefNuibu’s president is buying with the stolen money, since they alleged that Diezani bought diamond bra with hers?
Is it this clueless government ownership of businesses that ThiefNuibu wants to continue if we are mumu enough to make him president?

The owner of OANDO is gradually taking his hands out of petty oil business.

He doesn't want to be accused of anything like that when he becomes presido. Now, I know where the wind is blowing.

It's been decided already.

A commendable work. This is against those strategizing to sell off nnpc to his cronies... What we known to some certan group of people in past is selling off public asset at a give away price to themselves. This is unusual!!! A reverse case... Government business entity aquiring private business entity.
Upward/front-forward movement.

What a dumb statement.

Report has it that one of the major 2023 contenders owns OANDO, is NNPC trying to indirectly finance someone's 2023 campaign?

Can they tell us how much they acquired the assets and liabilities of OANDO ?

No vex. This is not your forte so stay in politics lane where you children with horrible upbringing insult one another with repugnant bliss.

Only naive or mischievious folks will put money inside those refineries only to pump refined products through those pipelines already breached by unpatriotic criminals including churches and mosques you want NNPC to pander to.

How is it brilliant thinking? What happens to refining? Our refineries nko that are almost moribund what happens? Until NNPC handles the refining aspect they would be like a small player. For Otedola, Mobil, Chevron and Co to exit downstream means there is really small gains there and until you control midstream and refining you cannot maximize profilt. All this photo ops is for show

Retail can be a difficult business to manage and margins are not particularly high. With poor project execution discipline of Nigerian companies, I am not convinced that this is a good deal.

Why not leave retail for individuals and other companies to manage and do bigger projects that only a company with that size can do.

For eg as part of its energy transition, a 500MW solar plant with battery back up for grid stability in say Nasarawa state would be a game changer.

I thought i was the only one that saw through the bull shit Photo Ops they are playing

Please go and find out who owns 20% of Dangote refinery and how NNPC secured that deal then this deal will hit you hard!

Most of you do not understand govt because you waste valuable time among toxic negative folks. Get out of their crowd now before they ruin you. Oil subsidy will soon be a thing of the past yet NNPC will not have net .underrecoveries

That is not the point bro what about the refineries? Even the investment in Dangote makes no sense and shows some fraud. On what basis was the amount invested in a refinery that has not refined a single barrel of oil what criteria was used to evaluate or valuate the refinery of Dangote?

It is a poor business decision and if you investigate deeply you will see there is fraudulent undercurrent behind this deal.

I just enlightened you on the point but you are free to believe it or the views of broke naysayers with opinion. NNPC is now playing all the streams and overtime will shift more resources to where more returns come to the shareholders.
There is a strategic thinking you are not seeing. NNPC is now doing business unlike before that they sit in office to share inflows. Like I stated earlier, you take my advice or leave it. The Nigeeians driving these strategies are very smart and patriotic folks and I wish them the best.I am very proud of them.

I think you are the child here with very low business acumen, no offense.

First of all, your party of lies and propaganda campaigned that they will revamp those refineries and build one new refinery every year, did your party of lies not know those refineries were moribund and the pipe lines porous before dishing out their propaganda and lies?

As APC assumed power for the past seven years, there have been budgetary allocations to those refineries. Why are they allocating billions to a refinery they know they won't operate? Thieves in power.

Thirdly, NNPC have not remitted money into the FAAC account stating it has no money, from where did they get the money to purchase over 360 OANDO filling stations all of over the Nation? Most NNPC filling stations all over the nation are either dormant or under utilized so why purchasing more filling stations when the ones on ground have not been optimally utilized? Especially a time the government is sourcing for funds to sort out the ASUU issue?

MY dear friend, you can agree with me that COMMON SENSE IS INDEED NOT COMMON.

Look if downstream really pays more in terms of returns, guys like Chevron, Forte Oil and Mobil would still be there. Look what i see if the trend of corruption continues a consortium with a hidden political backer would buy NNPC Ltd for peanuts on the dollar.

Privatise NNPc, they started a jamboree. Same NNPc that claims to have totally spent all it's revenue in fuel subsidy is buying 380 comatose and mismanaged liabilities in the name of expansion. Same NNPc actually has the largest retail outlets nationwide majority of which are underutilized and is now adding 380 retail outlets. Did Nigerians complain of not having enough retail outlets or what exactly is the point behind this move?
It's obvious Buhari and his paddies are not ready to change NNPc. They're only playing to the gallery. Where's that dude that used to complain of subsidy? Come and explain how NNPc got money to buy 380 retail stations after it spent all its revenue on subsidy.

Thank you. Very clueless bunch. This is adding more liabilities and overhead to a struggling entity. I just dont get it either.
