War is become more difficult for Russia. If Russia had force Ukraine to surrender in the first 3 months of war, the war would have been over now. But RA are not discipline. They were looting, raping and killing civilians. Ukraine did not have lethal weapons as at then but just some javelins and likes. More weapons are coming now. West are responding to every Russia acts of terrorism by providing more weapons.
RA are bombing Ukraine indiscriminately. No specific targets against military facilities or positions. Civilians are used to Russia tactics which wouldn't lead to any military or political success. They are prepared. Some fools think Russia can bomb Ukraine to stone age. Even Russia doesn't have conventional weapons that can do that. Ukraine is a large country.
Use of nukes against civilians would trigger article 5 because nuclear radiation would reach nato nations.
Even radiation would get to Russia as well. Chernobyl nuclear disaster. And use of nuclear weapons in the battlefield would affect RA in the front line as well.

Putin miscalculated. 3 days war is now 8 months and still counting. If putin knows kiev wouldn't fall in 3 days, he wouldn't order military invasion.
