I think the fact that Russia under Putin is fighting a gentle man war in order not to invoke civilian outrage and be seen as a good stateman, could cost them this war.

Now that NATO is officially involved, the stakes are getting higher and the risk are increasing. NATO and USA doesn't fight gentle man war. They want to destroy Russia for good and take over their land as they currently do Germany.

If there is a time to defeat Ukraine, it is now. If Ukraine is not well beaten, even if this war ends, they will come again for their territory after a long time.

Putin needs to forget about trying to win over the west or America and just go bazook. Russian will be feared and restpected only if Ukraine is well beaten messilessly. Not this gentle man fight Putin is putting up. You started an offensive some days ago and then stopped again. Why not just finish the war once and for all. Replace the leaders of Ukraine for sometime, force them to quit NATO, then leave them with a leader of their choice who is pro-Russian.

Trying to make friendship with USA or asking Germany if they need gas through the other side of Nord stream2 may be a good gesture of statemanship, but it makes you appear weak and desperate. Ignore these people and defeat them via the front line to earn their fear and respect man.

Putin has a good heart no doubt. He is too good for Europe. They don't deserve him. And frankly, his good heart might cost him if he doesn't see the picture clear enough that the west, lead by USA, want him dead and gone for good.

It is already late. Lend-lease act. You can Google about it. The war would end in peace treaty or negotiations. RA should have ended this war in February when Ukraine had less weapons and west was doubting UA ability to fight back.

I also wonder why he stopped the offensives. The west led by the U.S wants putin down badly and my fear is this, if Putin is down, the rest of anti-west are almost incosequential .

If Putin or Russia is defeated, there will never be another superpower ever again to challenge USA and her fear fear NATO Allies. Their only enemy is Russia. NATO foreign policy is geared towards defeating Russia. Why the hell is oga Putin playing soft with his enemies who wants him dead?

It baffles me.

Exactly. Just imagine US, UK and Germany hellbent on supplying more advanced weapons to Ukraine. Putin needs to stand up.

Putin is getting delusional. I think he doesn't know the endgame of how this war will make Russia powerless and voiceless in the global community if they allow Ukraine regroup and become strong again.

Putin is trying too hard to be seen as a good statesman. He is putting himself far above the interest of Russia, and the people want to see blood and vengeance, not pleasing partners and seeking validation.

No "peacemaking" will work. Russia will have to destroy Ukraine, otherwise Ukraine, or rather NATO, will destroy Russia. If part of Ukraine remains under the control of the West, it is clear that it will become a stronghold of NATO against Russia and the Second Ukrainian War, but already on Russian territory, cannot be avoided. That is, the task of ensuring the security of Russia - that is why this war began, will not be solved. So Putin will not be left with a choice and he will have to fight to the end, no matter how much he wants to make peace.

“Russia does not set itself the task of destroying Ukraine. There is no need for massive strikes against Ukraine, at least not now.
The introduction of any troops into Ukraine and a direct clash with the Russian army is a dangerous step that could lead to disaster." - Putin.

China is nothing without Russia. Just one sanction from Europe or America and China will be wasteland. The bulk of their market is in USA and Europe. They're more concerned about preserving their economic growth than fighting a war with common Taiwan. Russia would have taken over Taiwan by now if they were in the position of the Chinese.

China is a paper tiger that cannot bite for now. They have no war experience. They need years to learn from Russia and become a military giant.

Yes, if they lose this war in Ukraine, there will be division in their camp. That's why USA want them to win at all cost.

At this point I don't know what Putin wants to achieve. Do you want to destroy Ukraine or not? Or you want to be embarrassed? This man just dey fall Russia hands like kilode. Why so much restraints and pity to the point that US and EU don dey see you finish?

Once Ukraine is defeated and brought to their knees, NATO and US will leave with their tail tucked in. But instead Putin and his General are making calls to the west reporting Ukraine, lol. Is funny. Person wey una go beat messilessly so that NATO will crawl to their shell, you are still waiting till they come to you and negotiate. When you should press them hard on the battlefield till they beg you to negotiate.

Putin dey vex me.
