(Reuters) - New British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is considering freezing the country's foreign aid budget for two years, the Telegraph reported on Friday, citing sources.

That is good news but also bad news for corrupt leaders of poor countries that embezzle these funds anyway. The corrupt leaders need to have sense by force. Enough of the spoon feeding. Time for them to wake up.

I wish USA and other countries that sends Aid to poor countries can do the same.

What about asking Rishi Sunak to force British banks to return the stolen loot from Africa, including corrupt proceeds from western multinationals like Shell?

What about asking him to direct those British firms to stop engaging in the stealing of Nigerian oil, as was recently pointed out by Nigerian maritime authorities?

You do realise the amounts involved here exceed the 'aid' by a factor of 1000 to 1?

If they did all these, we wouldn't need their ''aid'' would we?

Make una dey try use sense nauu??

The ''aid'' is just a codedly token nonsense (eye service) while they rob the hell out of you from the back door.
