Hello guys, I received an S22 SM-S901E Dual SIM version. GSM arena shows that the build number is for Asia/Africa but I'm getting a notification that says "SIM from a service provider that isn't supported". I'm unable to close the notification but I can call the phone. I'll appreciate any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks.

Phone is network locked.... To be used by a particular network only. From what I see in the pic, it is obvious it was sSIM locked to MTN South Africa. Any other SIM won't work. You will have to unlock it prolly by flashing. Take it to those gsm repair guys to unlock or flash it for you. 1 Like |

99thEnemy: It recognised the SIM but just the notification which I can't close. The issue started after doing a factory reset. Will flashing another firmware fix it permanently? |

Tried holding the power button till it restarts? |

Instead of taking it to all this repair guy, u can do it urself, all u need is pc and download the firmware from sammobile nd do it urself... |
