I just noticed this now but it seems GTB deducts #50 for every credit transaction into my account. You'll probably say it's not much but it adds up and in this economy, #50 is something. I never noticed this before but now that I have, I want to ask if I'm the only one experiencing this.

Is this general to everyone? Are other banks better or worse?

I plan leaving them soon.
Most times, I am debited twice for just one transaction.

I swear. Sometimes I open my account to see unexplained debits, even aside from USSD and Card upkeep. Only small amounts, which is why I don't complain but it's getting too much.

Which bank would you switch to tho? Cos it seems all of them seem to be the same.

Pele....All credit above 5k attracts 50 naira debit.....e don tay naaa since 2017 or so.......some banks ddnt effect it on some saving account when cbn made the law, they charged only current accounts ...but later started charging ....my brother's account was never charged until early this year...

The bank like na foreign bank....Atm is free..dem go deliver am come your house no charge...

I even created an account on their ALAT before but never touched it after. Might follow up on it.
