I'm thinking of how to register a user with the user's passport photograph in a window form using vb.net and to display this passport in his account as well, in a crustal report about the user. Is ms access good for this? Can someone expose the vb.net codes for this? Cheers!

Dude, avoid MS Access. It is too tailored toward small-scale financial reporting. I even see MS phasing it out in the next few years.
There are better db choices in:

1. SQL Server Express (free)
2. SQL Server Compact (free and embedded)

Personally, I would go for SQL Server Compact. But even better than the the MS helpings is Eloquera, google it.

Thanks. I was even thinking about it and doubting if access can handle it. But is it possible and how do i perform the operation i'm talking about with passport photograph?

^^^ You need to learn how to program. Please do not take it as an insult --- spend some time understanding the basics as most of your questions seem to indicate a disconnect in that area. There is nothing special in code about a passport photograph and for most businesses(since majority are small) Access DB works excellently well. Many small businesses, and moderate sized ones use them for most all of their apps. Access can hold and handle up to 1 million records and more if you need something that does that.

There are tons of tutorials online to help you but you need to ensure you have the BASICS down.

Well, you can use MS SQL Server Express edition for this work. It’s free. MS Access also possible to use for this scenario but using MS SQL server is the best practice for these work. There many ways have you can code this program. Storing images in Database is highly performance cost operation. I prefer you to store those images in a directory and store the directory root in database.
You can find sample code blocks if you search in Google.

MS Access is a very powerful database application and has significant advantages over a spreadsheet in tracking data,  tongue  grin
the Database (.mdb) file size is limited to abt 2 GB for objects in the database, while the number of objects in a database is limited to abt 32,768

Beaf:

I even see MS phasing it out in the next few years.

Microsoft has the habit of attaching dead apps to there packages ,  i see it still coming with windows 8,9,10,11,12, 100  grin
