When you develop a concept of self, you create an outer idea of yourself and idea of who you want to be. When the way you see yourself is at odds with your ideal self. This tanks our self-esteem and creates many of the problems that we experience in our opportunities and relationships.

Self-concept genuinely permeates into every corner of our lives. It defines what kind of relationships we make for ourselves. It gives us courage to act and helps us to manifest the mental, emotional, material, and even spiritual opportunities that we crave. There’s nothing that our concept of self doesn’t affect. That’s what it’s so important to make sure this perception is balanced and never at odds.
