Tafa Balogun's Illness: Nemesis Or The End? by Bigtee(m): 10:32pm On Feb 27, 2006
I read the story of Tafa Balogun in Wednesday's Guardian. I learnt he has been release but he's seriously ill. They even said he could not walk when he was released and that he has been confined into Bed as in "Bed-ridden".
Som say he's reaping what he sowed. Well i say "the man has learnt his lesson"
EFCC wants to re-open the case. Well I think they should give him some time to at least get his health back.
What do u think

Uncle Tafa is currently experiencing the effects of eating far too much food and money. He has a gut the size of Texas.

It shows how frail and frigile these so called leaders of ours are. Once in trouble they crumble like a pack of card. He spent total of what 6/7 months in prison and he is sick already. Alams is in the same condition presently.

Nigerian prisons are a horrible nightmare as discussed already. Imprisonment for a long time is almost equal to a death sentence.

The total amount stolen or misappropriated by this African police boss was said to be more than the combined salary of the Premiers of 15 of the most industrialised nations in Europe. I read it in a European journal sometime ago. I doff my hat for uncle Tafa
