When you say "very dark", what do you mean? 'Cause the Mbappe I've seen often isn't dark or white, but he's light-skinned.

Mbappe is more brown skinned. Check out his younger bro, "Ethan Mbappe." That's who you call lightskin.

When I said "more darker" I was saying he looks darker compared to most mixed races because his mom is a non-white person (Yellow(light)-skinned Arabian) and his Dad is a very black man. When mixed together, he's more likely to have a darker skin.

What's your argument?

Messi, at Mbappe's age had won world player of the year.

We compare things that are extremely irrelevant sometimes.

No the guy is right

Mbape can still win another world cup making it two because age is still on his side

Which if he does is another record on its own

Messi was quoted yesterday that winning the world cup was his longest driven ambition since he was small

So it's a great achievement if he does it 2nd time

Mbappe will end up being the greatest football player in the history of the game ... At 23 he has achieved what Messi or Ronaldo cudnt ... All he need now which he will surely get , are balon Dors and champions league with another WC and he will surpass Messi and Ronaldo... For those saying Messi is the greatest, and that no one can achieve what he has achieved , just know that in 10 yrs time , all his records will be broken by mbappe ... The guy is a football wonder ... Firs Player to ever score a hat trick in a world cup final since England and only the second to ever do that .. 12 WC goals , he will be the first to do 20 WC goals ... Fastest player to hit 25 champions league goals

That's what many of them don't realize

The guy will break records

No. His mom is North African from Algeria. She's Arabian. And Arabians are not white, they're mostly lightskins. That's why Mbappe looks very dark because his father's genetic proved to be superior.

Learn about race before you start calling every non-black person "white." It makes my skin crawl.

Like you had to add that, get out. There's nothing to learn from you and your skin should keep crawling tongue

I respect Mbappe more after the final match, to me the coach killed the match

in this kind of match Mbappe should have top strike, Giroud have no reason for starting the match, thursam or what's that guy name should have started the match and the guy that plait his hair(that real Madrid player) was suppose to be in line-up

anyway Que Sera Sera, congrats to Messi and his Team
for your information it was Argentinian coach that nearly destroy the game, he was the one that gave France opportunity to regroup after removing Di Maria.

Zidane and Benzema are not white. How ignorant can you be to spit such misinformation with confidence?

I noticed most Nairalanders know literally nothing about race. Everybody with a lightskin, or near white skin is "white" to yall. You guys watch Morocco's game, and you can see how brown/lightskinned their players are with straight hairs, and you still open your mouth oozing with ignorance saying those Algerian descendants Zidane and Benzema) are "white." Just like how Mahrez and Ziyech are white right?

Mtcheeww.

You are utter retárd. Tell your father at home that he is oozing ignorance not me.

Useless fools like you cannot take an in-depth look at things without displaying your lack of manners. Try this nonsense with me this morning and I'll be here to teach you what your parents failed to give you.

Make Una take Una time for this site. Your papa no buy land for here

Now tell me how these people aren't "white" simply because they happen to be Berbers. If you didn't know they were Berbers, what race would you have called them?

France is recolonizing Africa for a Partial advantage in soccer. In the Light of the physical strength of blacks and to create a leveling playing field. No European should be made to parade more than 2 or 3 black players in Thier national team

You have a point but if someone of these people wants to play for their national teams, they won't even make it through the selection phase because of well...you know. So it's doing them good they're shinning from there
We saw the Super Eagles, I'm sure we have better people than those who made it but for some corrupted reasons didn't make it

Mbappe made a technical statement about how advanced and well structured soccer is in Europe. He was right, indeed constant tournaments in the similitude of a world cup outing within the micro-continental context is a good preparatory standard for any footballer or team...

But sadly, technicalities don't always hold true in real-life circumstances...

Messi may have been correct too in his criticism of Mbappe's statement.
In reality, South Americans' soccer may not be as structured as Europeans' but they are rather innate. Many Latinos play soccer right from the cradle. It is a street thing that comes up anytime of the day and everyone joins in. They don't make it exclusive as an occupation. No! It's a culture. Soccer is part of the culture of Brazil and Argentina, just as Ayò is to the Yorubas. And what is innate is eventually superior to what is learned!
Knowledge bows to culture.

That's the take home for Mbappe.
Albeit, he has displayed a very impressive skill of what he has learned and I doff my hat to him.

Bro, you definitely deserve a sit among soccer pundits like Graeme souness and Jamie carragher. You analysis is definitely top notch

Hallamd is no where at same level with Mbappe.

Erling is actually a very good player but his downside or so is he is from Norway and Norway isn't exactly a superpower in football, they didn't even qualify for this world cup and they don't always qualify for world cups to give him that world wide exposure.

Unlike Mbappe that have played in 2 finals in row and have top quality team mates that would play a supporting cast for him.

I was telling someone that many of the great players were great not just because of their own individual talent, but playing in an environment were there had a supporting cast: check Messi and Ronaldo for example.

In manutd, before Ronaldo blow grin , he was a kid, making mistakes here and there, getting into scuffle with opponents but Ferdinand and Vidic , were always there for him. Matter fact Roy Keane I believe was still there at first, John O'shea, Giggs, Carrick and to an extent Rooney defended him.

In Barcelona, Pique , dinho, and Puyol defended Messi and protected him, also Mascherano when he was in Barca.

So what this 2 teenagers Ronaldo and Messi did at the time was just focus on their skills, no need to fight, they had big brothers around them both at club and country and their respective coaches believed in them and protected them so ther confidence level was high.

Imagine walking in the midst of your senior brothers and his friends or walking with your big cousins to a party or to watch a football game.. you will fully of confidence because you know you are covered and they will always protect their little bro.

Many good individual players were very good but had to fight their way through and in the process got injured here and there.. Messi and Ronaldo, in their younger days.. a rough tackle from an opponents will initiate almost a bench clearing scuffle.

If Kanu and Okocha were playing for an European country that took care and supported their players and got those world wide exposure, they would have been high up their in football greats.

But I do feel very bad for Jaasklaiena ( I might have spelt his name wrong) the Bolton wanderers goal keeper from Finland. I thought he was decent but again playing for mid-level Premier league team that don't always play in champions league or Europa league and don't have top class players and for Finland that have never seen play in World cup or Euros and don't have name brand players... he was just unfortunate in my opinion but that's life...
