The Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr David Umahi, FNSE, FNATE, GSSRS, CON, was on Tuesday, conferred on (Chief) Christian Asaga Nwali, as Member Ebonyi Hall of Fame ( MEHF ). This is a feat Chief Asaga earned himself from dint of hard-work, and intellectual idea generating abilities. The honour is well deserved and very much commendable.

Chief Asaga is the MD/CEO of C-Sagas Projects Nig Ltd, and also the CEO of Cirenes Hotels. He is an Ikwo born philanthropist, a business man, and God-sent to the good people of Ikwo. Since he was born, he has never occupied any political position, but he has done something remarkable in Ikwo Local Government Area and beyond. The fact that he is an employer of Labour is super remarkable. The highest empowerment is to give someone a job, and it wouldn't be a mistake, if I should stress that Chief Asaga employs more than government. In Nigeria, there is no course of study that guarantees automatic employment, but C-Sagas has made any Engineering related course to look like automatic employment. Hence, you can't study such course to approach him and come back empty handed. (He must employ you).

Today, Ikwo Local Government seems to have greater numbers of young Engineers that are doing well in Ebonyi State. It is imperative to state that Chief Asaga built 98% of them from the scratch, till the level they are today. Chief Christian Asaga Nwali, popularly known as C-Sagas is not a politician, but he has achieved more than people that are controlling the public fund. He has assisted many with start up capitals for business, cash gifts, cars, recommendations, and golden advice. When God was creating Obinna Iyiegbu, Gideon Ossi at Oba and Ishiagu respectively, he created Christian Asaga Nwali at Ikwo.

If Government should follow the footstep of C-Sagas in employment generation, unemployment should have been existing only in Economic text book. Whereas, I congratulate and commend Ebonyi State Government for honouring C-Sagas, I humbly opine that the Federal Government should consider the need to give him a National Honour, because he deserves it. It is the collective prayer of Ndi Ikwo, that God will uplift C-Sagas beyond the level he is today, as more awards keep coming.
