Prime Video released on Wednesday 28th December 'FC Barcelona, a new era', the docuseries - five episodes of 30 minutes each - that uncovers the ins and outs of the last two years at the Catalan giants.

One of the chapters talks about Quique Setien, who left the Camp Nou through the back door after a complicated few months and the historic 2-8 defeat by Bayern Munich in a Champions League marked by COVID-19.

One of the things that most affected him, apart from football, was his poor relationship with the squad. In particular, the documentary shows one of the clashes he had with the team captains, Messi, Pique and Jordi Alba.

"Do we always have to wait for you or what?" asked Setien angrily at the start of a training session to which these players arrived late. It seems, from the Cantabrian coach's reaction, that this was a regular occurrence.

Jordi Alba replied: "Leo, 'Gery' and I are sometimes late, but that won't happen." However, the tension was already evident from a veteran coach, but new to the top flight, with the main captains of a Barcelona side that, at that moment, was in a poor form.
