It was reported that neither urban nor rural areas are seeing the new notes in circulation. The Senate unanimously passed a resolution on Wednesday requesting that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) extend the deadline for returning the old money from January 31, 2023, to June 30, 2023, following the redesign of the N200, N500, and N1,000 banknotes.
