Point number 6, toxic bosses and workplace, really takes its toll on your mental health
I almost run mad because of this very point. Honestly I resigned

I also stopped working this December because of the following;

I don't see myself growing there.. Even if i spend 5 years there, I can't grow...

Toxic, my boss insults and degrade staffs anyhow as if they are not human.. Though he is nice sumtyms but the way he treats staff is sumtyms appalling..

Thank God u said he is sometimes nice; u cannot understand many things until you are a Boss yourself. They give answers to everything thing that goes wrong in their unit or Branch. U want them to fold their hands and let them mess up their job and career? Some subordinate can really be insubordinate and thinks they will make life tire u. Some even think they are doing u a favour by working under you.

I am about to leave my current job for this very reason, even though I would need to take a paycut to get a new job, but I really do not mind at this point

No job security in these country and the employees are left in the mercy of the phycho bosses.

I left since September as I can't kill myself trying to negotiate endless possibilities I don't see coming through.

We must survive

No. 1 is key to all you have mentioned. Make sure all options are explored before quitting. You can even ask to be redeployed, change of LM etc.

Best of all, document your grievances so it will not be said you are not a bad employee and in such instance, bcc: your personal mailbox cheesy

I was on the verge of quitting my main job and face my side hustle which was paying me 10x my salaray, However my side hustle(freelancing) showed me shege this past one month, I got banned and I almost ran mad. My main job kept me grounded and kept me sane. I think i finally understand when great people tell you to have multiple source of income. He get why o.

Do not quit cos of petty reasons that can be resolved, go into dialogue with your boss, as long as you're giving them value you've got the upper hand.

When your account gots banned, you can create a new one and move on nah

Many refused to quit a toxic workplace because of fear of the unknown.
They forgot they had a life before the job, and after the job your life will still go on.
I don't regret quiting my job, cos I doubled my hustle.......
That feeling knowing you re the C.E.O of your time!

I'm quitting mine because I feel I'm used. I carry out most of the intellectual assignments (my boss attests to this fact) the firm gets but my boss is putting me on same pay as the secretary who didn't go to the university.

When I met him as regards renumeration, cuz he initially called me to work with his firm, he told me that he's starting with an amount which I had no problem with cuz I had not convocated then and I haven't gotten my certificate. He further told me that at the attainment of my certificate, I'll be given a raise.

Now I've convocated and have my certificate, I met him again a day before we closed office for the year to remind him of what he said at our initial meeting, the next thing he told me was that I shouldn't raise that discussion till i finished NYSC. I said nothing.

This is my very self that carried out the revalidation of the ESIA of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (Blue Line) amongst other valuations in Lagos Island, and the least invoice from these assignments I've done is in the region of #51m.

Employer-Employee work relationships should be a win-win. Any other thing asides that doesn't worth it.

Your mental health matters a lot. Seriously I was almost losing my mind, couldn't sleep well, always afraid of what is and what is not. God's grace something bigger and better will come I'm currently pursuing something else. What's most important now is I have my peace of mind

Problem is people keep putting pressure on you to hang on to the job because you are yet to get a better one, but they are not there to help you carry your emotional and mental load

Yes, group mail and where the organisation has a DLP in place.

Bcc: yourself is not a an illegal thing to do. Not like you are copying someone else.

What if you are sick and tired of the actual job role itself in addition to a toxic boss that has extended the hours of work?

Work and get a capital and start a business that would help ur life.

Everyone mustn't be in the business world but there are some organisations that would render u useless and incapacitated financially and emotionally.

Don't settle for less.

Exactly....I personally experienced that years ago.
