Trapped Bank Transfer:Has Anyone Experienced This Before? by dafeoroyo: 11:00am On Jan 02, 2023
Hello,
Please has anyone find his or herself In this situation before?
So, December 1st 2022,i.made a transfer of 70,400 from.my sterling bank to my GTB,the fund was for my American Visa fees, till this morning the fund is yet to hit my GTB account,In other to avoid the wasting that day and to quickly book a date /appointment on the US platform I had to source for another fund from my Stanbicibtc to the GTB account and this one went through
Since then,I have been calling back to back Customer care sterling bank ,at a point in time they gave me a 30 digit number to give my GTB that the said 70,400 went through
After checking from GTB ,they told me there is no inflow of fund on the Session ID given to me by sterling bank and as a result I should contact sterling bank back and tell them to properly check with their fund transfer team that possibly the fund is hanging in their server
Since that time to this moment ,I have used more than 5k.to call sterling bank customer care all to no avail, they will promise of a refund but noting as at this moment,I even went to their Twitter page to lay complain, they cant proffer any solution

Please Nairalanders, has anyone been involve in this type of issue before? What could possibly be the reason the alert did not reach my account and no reversal, this is January 2 2023,if there is any ,what's the way outfore.to get my money back ,please help a brother out

Please help push to front page

Send them mail instead.
They give much priority to mail complains .
I have been using sterling bank since 2010 till date and I always resolve most dispute through mail.
