The police should include the wife office in their investigation, she work as a confidential secretary and that’s a dangerous job in university environment, investigate the maid too

I hope police will be more sophisticated with their investigation. They also need to check the call and message logs of everybody to see if they can get a clue to what might have transpired before this unfortunate accident.

Hope it wasn't the son that brought this calamity on his family. Why was he taken along and not the father or anyone else. He was given a "special" treatment. This might be cult related.

The heart of humans is wicked..... Envy alone can cause it.

I have seen a case where a family ( father, mother) were dealt with but not killed, while their daughter was kidnapped and raped to teach the parents a lesson.... Later, the daughter got home.... Parents had to pack out of that house.

That is why sometimes I fear men, if women disagree / angry with themselves it is obviously shown, men will hide it but can poison, stab etc

1.That's why you have to vote for a government that would make more money for the coffers.

2.DNA is not a magic bullet. If the DNA is not on the database, it's going to take a longer time to find the killer. And DNA being there does not mean the person commited the crime

Eg...a woman was found dead and strangled in her home in the US. DNA in her privates was linked to a potential suspect. The suspect admitted he had had relations with the woman on the day she died, but denied killing her. As it turned out, the man was telling the truth...the killer entered the house some few hours after he left.

3.At the end of the day, if someone does not talk, crimes are not solved. In the US, some crimes only get solved when someone speaks out ten years later...

4.The perp may not even be from the country self.

5.DNA is not all you need...you still need witnesses, other evidence, etc. And even CCTV cameras.

6.All that costs money. Sane countries can afford state of the art forensics lab, digital records, and even CCTV cameras everywhere...because they pay high taxes...and are industrial countries. Try it in Nigeria...where our tax intake is low, and we all want to pose with Iphone 50X...

Read more news, watch more news. Your simplistic assumption about everyone can make you to loose guard and put you in danger one day. This incident could be as simple as one family member who didn't get the assistance he thought he deserved from the man.

Killing that boy again,likely cult related issue involved the boy though his mum being a University confidential secretary another issue cos a lot happens in our university and Dad as CBN staff,another issue to unravel... but this family case is similar to what happened in Ilorin some years ago when cultists broke into a professor house,sighting Prof son who belonged to a rival cult group,they killed Prof wife first and maid but the boy escaped by jumping the fence.Prof was safe cos he was outside Nigeria.

Let the Police start with the Call Logs of the both murdered Husband and Wife for the last Six months.

Calls, Text messages. Location and destination of calls and the recipients. The man itinerary for the last Six months should be combed thoroughly. There is no perfect crime, there must a clue in between that period that can give the Police a lead on this gruesome crime.

I don't know why our naija police are delaying the investigation.. the news was, it was the family driver that mastermind the killings but why he did that is what is yet to unravel.. is not deal go wrong, politics or CBN related issue. This info is from a very close family source. The driver has been arrested since then. So, police give information in there custody asap until the narration will change.
