I hate it when ignorant people try to sound intelligent. There are lots of lectures and free Tutorial to guide people on that. I learnt Graphic designing on my own. If it doesn't work for you, doesn't mean that it can't work for others. Stop discouraging people.

Ignorant you said and from your write up I am glad you are the knowledgeable one
and to set record straight, I did not in any way discouraged anyone, read what I posted and again look up for the meaning of ignorance, may be another free advice from me will do.

Learn to sit at the feet of the masters for you will be lifted to stand on their shoulders.

If you really want to learn, you don't need anyone to motivate you. It's like devouring something you like. Something that will please you. Do you look for who to motivate you? Start doing something already. But I'd say you learn about the different softwares first and ask people how the journey was for them before embarking on it. It's a way of preparing yourself.
3D isn't child's play. Especially when you're talking about animating. That one takes forever.

Who are these people commenting anyhow on this good thread? The op wants to create a community of like minds and foolish people are reading different meanings into it. If you are not a junior 3D artist or you are not interested in what the op wants to do kindly get out of the thread instead of discouraging others with your oversabi post.

Omami Studios is what looks like a wrong move here. Okay what's risky first . He wants to form a community of 3d enthusiast in quote newbies to embark on a skill that can take up to 4 or 5 years to hone fully guided by who. Do you know how long it can take for them to go in circles if they mix just one step. Take my experience for starters I learnt character modelling ( self taught) got a gig started sculpting till I missed fundamental deformation areas because the tutorial I used did not mention it. 3 months worth of work almost in flames if not for my boss that guided me.


The team of beginners, how many of them knows a clear definition of the path ahead. Self learning is great I do it most times but then 3d is broad. A training like this involves dedication and commitment to someone else in this case a tutor. Maybe try gathering a group of guys and ask them to figure out barring skill by themself. Time they would use to go far under a tutor would be spent trying to figure out the whole stuff themself.


I hope u get me. Self learning isn't bad that's not what I am saying. The question should be are they willing to sacrifice that uneccssary time . The field is broad before they even figure out specialty new tools are out. For instance while most of them would be busy thinking about how to move verts into shapes 3d artist around the world are gearing up for geometry node based modelling. Now imagine that they are watch a YouTube video from 2018 how long do you think they will take before they catch the trend.


The training is not by force and this self is too cheap for the knowledge being shared. The training is on hard surface and its pulled out from a bigger course of 35k.
