International Passport Advice Needed. by Nobody: 12:58pm On Jan 16, 2023
Good day travel guys.

I really need an urgent advice here. I am about to apply for my first Nigeria international travel passport. I try to call the immigration passport office number, but not reachable. I emailed them about it, they respond. They told me I can apply get the Nigeria passport in my state.

The different is that, Lagos office and port harcourt office will issue me a new type booklet. While the immigration office in my state will issue the old standard booklet. I email them again and asked them to tell me the difference between the old booklet and the new one, they didn't respond. So I brought it here.

What is the difference between the old and passport booklet or the new booklet?. I need advice here. I don't want stories that touch.

What matters is the authenticity and validity of the passport. As long as it's issued by NIS, you are good to go. Besides, I doubt if any passport office is still issuing the old passport booklet.

The Newly enhanced e-Passport - Validity and Cost

- 32 pages valid 5 years is N26, 000
- 64 pages valid 5 years is N35, 000
- 64 pages valid 10 years is N70,000

NOTE: These prices are valid for only three states; Lagos, Abuja and Rivers and all ages will pay same price for ONLY these 3 locations.

For the rest of the 33 states, price is as follows;

- 32 pages valid for 5 years N17,800
- 64 pages valid for 5 years N23,000

NOTE: Children less than 16 and adults 60 and above pay 11,000 for 32 pages which is valid for 5 years.

It'll work. The important thing is to present a valid means of identification.

Hi. Thank you for the information. Please I am planning to stand as guarantor for my brother who is due capture tomorrow, but my national ID has expired. Will that be a challenge even if my passport is still valid?
