First review is on the yearly salary of developers.

Nigerian developers had the lowest salary range in the world.

Please note that countries where respondents were less than 100 were not included.

Nigeria had 141 respondents.
16% work for free
48% earn less than $10,000 per annum
16% earn between $10,000 to 30,000 per annum
9% earn between $50,000 to $100,000 per annum.

The highest paid per country is USA with over half of the developers earning between $100,000 to $200,000 per annum

Thanks for asking. There is no problem.

I have a timeout notifier for every hour of compute. Once the timer buzzes, i hands off my computer and touch some grass for at least 5 minutes.

It is not only Nairaland. I am also on Twitter, Reddit, Quora, Discord etc.

This prevents burnouts.

Nairaland's bot has parked my main for reasons best known.

So i would pause.

What's our view of why developers in Nigeria charge so low for their services?

We have many developers earning below 10k usd per annum.

How can we change this scenario?

If you know react it shouldn't be a problem, similar core principles but solid does it more efficiently I believe. Emotion is just a library that enables you write css in js. No biggie
