LAGOS RECEPTION FOR RT. HON. BARR. RITA MADUAGWU’S LATE DAD. SENATOR IFEANYI UBAH CONDOLES WITH RT. HON. BARR. RITA MADUAGWU AND IHEFOBI FAMILY AS THEY BID THEIR FATHER FAREWELL. The Senator representing Anambra South and candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) for the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial election, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Sunday, condoled with the former Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Barr. Rita Maduagwu (Odiukonamba) and entire Ihefobi Family of Amihe Ukpor in Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State over the death of their father, Chief Bernard Ude Ihefobi (Ezike Ihenaebueke). Speaking briefly at the Church Outing Service reception organized in honour of the deceased at Pinnock Beach Estate Play Ground, Lekki Lagos, Senator Ubah described him as an epitome of humility, honesty, hard work and excellence. The Anambra South Senator further described him as a dedicated and amiable person whose sterling qualities and sense of duty endeared him to many who met him. Senator Ubah also appreciated God for his grace and mercies upon the family and prayed for more guidance and protection upon them. The Anambra South Senator further urged the family to take heart and prayed to God to grant the soul of the deceased repose. Responding, Rt. Hon. Barr. Maduagwu appreciated Senator Ubah for honouring their late father and prayed for more protection upon him. The deceased who passed on at the age of eighty-six is also survived by his children and grandchildren, including his son-in-law, Chief Hycienth Maduagwu (Dara Okenwa), husband to the former speaker. May Heaven rest his soul, Amen.
