Good morning everyone

I am at a cross road and a little bit confused on which to choose between the two countries.

My 1st degree in Naija is Medical Laboratory Science

I recently got offers from some schools IN UK for Direct Masters of 1year (without placement) and 2years (with placement)

While

I also received another offer from Canada for 2 years Post Baccalaureate Diploma in HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT with 3 months internship and possibility of 3 years post study visa.

The tuition fee for the Canada program is higher than UK programs and i will still have to go for Masters after wards (my vision is to have my Ph. D before i am 45years).

I actually prefer the Canada school as its a sureway of getting permanent residency but the duration and the fact that its not masters is the issue bothering me.

I need experts and everyone to please advice and give me the facts of the matter and what they think is best and why.

Please i am begging. Don't read and pass.

I have just today to finalize and start processing tuition deposit to the school i finally pick.

Thank you as you contribute.

I think u should go with Canada, after alll that the one your heart really wanted, ones you are done with your studies u can pursue resident permit while working, u can always do your Ph.D. in the long run, forget about the age capping, you can get any certificate at any point in your life, don't put too much stress on yourself for now, buttom line, Canada is a better option here

Your pathway to a Canadian permanent residency is shorter with UK 1 year masters.

You get 2 years post study stay with UK, you can write IELTS and learn French while in your first post study stay, you get very high score with masters, good English and French results, enough for you to apply for and get Canadian permanent residency all within 3 years.

The Canadian option is longer, you get masters in 4 years, and possibly get your PR in 5-6years.

I'll choose UK if I were you, and you might even be fortunate to get pnp.

A lot of people get jobs during the post study stay, as long as the employer is willing to sponsor you, without which you can't extend your stay.

Getting a job in UK should not stop you from pursuing Canadian PR. A permanent residency is better than a temporary stay.

A pnp is when a province in Canada nominates you based on your work experience.

Ever heard of PGWP and CEC? In my opinion, the OP should opt for Canada. UK is over-saturated.
