"In agreement with House of Reps resolution, subject to section 20, subsection 3 which says even after the old currency have lost its legal tender status that we are mandated to collect those monies. We will still continue to accept the old notes into bank acc."

However, as the old Naira notes will loose its legal tender status then, I doubt if deposits will be credited to depositors.

since they will continue to accept old notes after deadline day what use is the deadline DATE ? I'm just tired about the way things are done in this country honestly

Banks will continue to accept old notes, not people or businesses.

It won't.. what is the essence of depositing into the bank then if it won't credited?

You can still transact with old note, since at the end u can deposit it in the bank

It's meaningless. The Banks take your old note and refuse to issue new ones. It's more dangerous than what we had last week where you can still withdraw the old note if you wish.

Mopping up the old currency has been a success. What becomes of the new policy is what we don't know.

CBN also reverted to N20,000 per day after agreeing to N100,000 per day. This means the Fiscal policy is not consistent.
