Today happen to be my payday and I was promised 30k/months for working in a secondary school teaching Physics(SS1-3) and Mathematics (Jss1) here in Osogbo. After my first 2 lessons, I received an alert of #23200, I was shocked, why? That was the question in my head. Quickly I went straight to the Proprietress telling her the amount I received. That was when I realized I can never be paid the 30k/month as promised with the calculation she explained to me.. She said the school was opened for 22days from January 9th to January 31and we only had 17 working days during this 22days. So the (30k / 22 days ) multiply by the 17days working days..
I was speechless telling her I wasn't informed of the arrangements while I was given an appointment.
Anyways we mouve and hoping for another opportunity soonest..
For those that has been a school teacher or class teach for a longer period of time, is this how it been done in your school?
