Please can someone identify what sort of mixed breed is my dog. He is 1 and 3 months. I was told its parents were boerboels when I got it at 3 months.
I feed it well but at 1 year and 3 months it is not looking bulky. What's up with the breed type, any ideas guys?

Some long nosed breed was crossed with a boerboel..which is a short nosed (mastiff) breed

Hence the brindle colour of a boerboel and the long nose of a Caucasian or German Shepherd..

A dog is still man's best friend regardless of breed .. but i advise that you don't breed this one ..let us only improve genetics of the breed when we mate our dogs.. see now you don't really know what you have here.. i would still say Boercaucasian

Your submission is very plausible sir. I am looking to get a pedigree boerboel soon, I am dissspointed in this mixed breed I have for a dog. The dog is super active, energetic, dominant, and confident. Regardless of its size it sends chills down the spine of strangers when they visit at home. I chain all day and unleash it onky at night.
Sir, do you think it can put on more weight and size in the future. It's 1 year and 3 months old. Still behaves like a puppy.

it's a mixed breed, you can start by telling by the fur. Boerboels have short rigid fur.

when you say weight, do you mean fat?

Not fat but you know bulk up in muscle mass.

I agree. Too many dangers associated with crossbreeding.

fish , meat, eggs. Just like humans that hit the gym for muscle building, they consume proteins, same with dogs. Feed much protein then give heavy excercise. Like swimming, weight pulling, stairs climbing, running, tug of war, etc.
