So guys I was diagnosed with hiv last year October, it’s been really tough for me, I’m a final year student. Ever since I’ve been diagnosed all I can think off is that I could die any time soon, I literally don’t have anyone to talk to about this. (Both my parents are late since when I was young, it’s just me and my jnr bro)

Please I need counselling and help, or anyone to talk to. Also please, if anyone could help me with any amount, I need to go check my viral load in the hospital and other follow up, any amount would actually suffice, please even if I’m gonna die, I don’t want to die so young( I’m just 23). Thing is I didn’t even know when I got the aids, when I was telling the doctors my ordeal they told me I’ve had it for years, even long before I started having sex.

I lost my dad at age 14 and no family member wanted to take me in, they took my jnr brother to stay with my uncle but left me alone in my fathers house to fend for myself, I think they all knew but didn’t just want to tell me.

I became atheist when I lost my dad but now i want to try and get closer to God, atleast if there’s nothing for me here on earth, I want my place in heaven to be assured.

Please I’m in tears as I write this, i know I’m a complete stranger to you, it’s getting worst everyday for me. I don’t know if the hiv has turned to aids.

Also please if anyone knows any support group in Benin I’d really appreciate it.
