Restructuring would have been good for Nigeria but I doubt if it's in the agenda of any of the political parties. I think it is slightly a sensitive issue at the moment because the North doesn't appear to understand it.

APC via ElRufai pretended to form a committee on restructuring but it was just to die the matter. Atiku also showed interest in restructuring Nigeria but again his voice seems to be becoming weaker and weaker as election approaches. Peter Obi and Tinubu haven't make any definitive point on this, as far as I know.

Also i think it should be established, never pin a politicians potential to his ethnicity, so what if igbo's desire restructuring obi might not do it since the national assembly might not be in his control. That is even assuming he wants to do it.
I believe its likely he has the desire to pursue restructuring not out of some goodwill or igbo ambition, but because his electorate demands of it, and i pray the electorate maintain their scrutiny to ensure he doesn't dare lose focus for any reason.

My friend the only constant thing in life is "change". Buhari/APC knew we needed change and promised it to Nigeria. And when they got the mandate they instead went to sleep, and continued to blame PDP for 7 years. What's the result? They failed woefully to even start. Now they are asking for forgiveness after first being in denial.

See, let's not be afraid to tinker with what is not working well. It is ordinary and basic.
