Coming from Stage3D, WebGL has always been an issue, who wan write code from scratch to build a game, PlayCanvas has everything for someone trying to explore game dev, I think the web is a good example. Let me explain further.

I am currently looking at a project for SCORM, Them Moodle, you can export VR Contents into your XR Devices ( Browser, Quest 2, Android XR Phones), I went through it and compared it to A-Frame, ThreeJS, BabylonJS and Playcanvas is close to Unity, to the point you can create custom scripts like Unity Extensions.

It supports both WebGL and WebGPU

the only issue for LMS is that it doesn't support them, and let me explain.

SCORM Activity usually contains interactivity in the course and SCORM/xAPI is responsible for sharing the scores/analytics to track things. It would mean PlayCanvas needs to implement xAPI

How will this be possible?

PlayCanvas User Scripts and a mini xAPI to transmit the VR data to the LMS

just thought I share my thoughts, I saw a thread about OpenGL and thought I share here, there are gigs for VR and 3D interactive business.

especially in the eLearning industry

Please feel free to discuss this, I think this is an opportunity for beginners, as you don't need excess code to build a quick game. it's got it's niche in the eLearning Industry.
