A chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chief Dele Momodu has claimed in an interview that the PDP presidential flag bearer Alhaji Atiku Abubakar decided to contest the primaries for the presidential elections because the current governor of Rivers state Nyesom Nwike strongly refused and opposed power zoning to the south-east.
Chief Dele Momodu said in the interview that Nyesom Wike who was trying to play demi-god in the PDP trying to decide and impose his personal decisions on the party had blandly refused with Atiku Abubakar who agreed that power should move to the south , and he would only opt not to run if the zoning was specifically made to the south-east, a proposition which Wike from the south-south strongly opposed,
Wike’s recent tantrums is not unconnected to his selfish and inconsiderate ambition which is inconsiderate to equity and fair play especially as it relates to the inclusiveness of the south-easterners in political participation in Nigeria

Talkative Wike! Everybody know Wike is fighting for himself and not entire South. Wike is relevant because he have so much Rivers money at his disposal.
