Hassan Oyeleke Rejects Outcome Of Polls, Vows To Reclaim Mandate In Court by Jimsonjaat96(m): 10:25am On Feb 28, 2023
Hon Hassan Oyeleke, the Peoples Democratic Party Candidate for the House of Representatives seat for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency of Kwara State has rejected the outcome of the National Assembly Elections declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Kwara State with claims of a multitude of issues based on several electoral malpractices.

In a statement released by the Director Media & Publicity of Hon Hassan Oyeleke Campaign Council, Mallam Mujib AbdulAzeez, the House of Representatives candidate has promised to challenge the result in court and ensure he reclaims the stolen mandate and correct the injustice.

His statement states: "The Peoples Democratic Party candidate for Ifelodun, Offa and Oyun Federal Constituency, Hon Hassan Oyeleke has rejected the results released and outcome of the National Assembly Elections as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission."

"This is largely due to several reported cases of gross electoral malpractice, widespread electoral fraud by agents of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and connivance by officials of the Electoral Commission as against stipulated guidelines in the electoral act."

"These actions totally negates the fundamental principles of free and fair elections according to the electoral act. Such malpractices has failed to ensure credible election and against all ethics of conducting elections.

"Hon Hassan has vowed to seek redress at the court to reclaim back his stolen mandate".
