Anytime I buy cassava flakes (garri) from the market I usually sieve it to remove the large particles that weren't properly ground (pix attached)

Someone said I'm wasting food which I don't believe, any idea if it's healthy to eat the garri as it comes or I'm doing the right thing?

You can grind it, and try using it for eba

Keep on keeping the sieve one in a bow. Once it is plenty, sun-dry it and grind it. Make EBA with it and you will come back to testify. Make sure it is well grinded.

This is Koko garri that is sold in the market to people who don't have money to buy plenty fine garri. They then grind it to fine powdered garri and the eba made with this is usually very smooth..

Stop wasting food.

What makes you think that this one is different from the one you seived? It's not as if it's not properly granted, it's through the process of frying that makes it look this way due to different frying pans.
I'm from Benue, we produce a lot of garri. If you didn't sieve it, you wouldn't have had this quantity.

It's okay if you don't like it this way but My point here is that you are wasting food.

You are wasting food. Try to make eBa using those large particles to see what that person meant. All those fibers you toss out are actually beneficial to your gut. undecided
