Luckysbab: Grandpa, it is worth waiting for even 2 weeks, this is a presidential election and not councelorship. Besides not all states results would be ready at same time. There should be no excuse here, as more than enough money were allocated for the job. Moreover it is done once in four years. |

patrickcollins:No matter what they will still upload everything online. They can use it in court. But what u don’t understand, the rigging is not inflation but cancellation of votes due to violence. There is no way u can get that back as long as there was violence there. Simple |

Sermwell: Did Tinubu win Cross Rivers? Is there how PDP and APC will score less than 10,000 votes in the South Eastern states? Almost all South East states submitted results very late to manipulate as much as possible but it was just not enough. LoLz, SE states recorded more votes than many Northern states and that's perfect in your sight because the hundreds of thousands of votes were for your candidate. Dey play. |

I understand your concern about getting better and perfect electoral system which we all crave for. However, it is worth of note that all the party agents have a copies of elections results signed by them. I think the political parties energy should channels towards verified the results gotten from their polling units agents compared it with the one INEC uploaded. As simple as that rather than inciting the general public by heated up the politics. Those result sheets where supposed to be uploaded immediately and directly from the various poling units after counting. Before the INEC chairman announces a result for each state, he is supposed to verify the figures uploaded with the manual submitted. That's why over a 100 billion were allocated to him for the job. If he wasn't fit to do the job, he should have opted out. It's not by force to be INEC chairman. Look at how our leaders are disgracing us both home and abroad. Nigerians are just watching helplessly. Just Common counting of units and result tally, Nigeria couldn't get it right. What task is there in counting the results uploaded and verifying it with what each state chairman submitted? There are Nigerian lecturers, professors who are far older than the INEC chairman in universities. This lecturers teaches, marks and grades over 1000 students on a particular course. They record this results and also upload them online while they are been paid peanuts. Now tell me why INEC with all the hundreds of billions with the only task of a credible presidential election could not tally up the figures uploaded by each LGA in Nigeria. Greatest yahoo yahoo of all time in Nigeria history [/quote] |

nnamdi640: Only an 8 year old should expect results to be uploaded immediately 100% in Nigeria. What new thing or plan works 100% at first try in Nigeria? What initial deadline is ever met successfully in Nigeria? Like i said earlier, all party agents have the results. If it doesn't tally with what they have and signed, they are very free to go to the tribunals. IREV is not yet uploaded 100%, are you reasonably saying there should have been no physical collation till now? Maybe next week, they should start and announce winner? All these results are announced publicly at ward level and state level before it was taken to national level. It's unfortunate most of the folks on social media are first timers and don't know the process. That's why politicians find it easy to play on your intelligence. |

leisuretym: You're just a very stupid person making this about tribe. We are talking about making the process as transparent as possible to prevent rigging whether in the north south west or east instead of your stupid tribalistic agenda. Billions were spent on this technology and four years of planning and testing could not produce an effective result? Is that not an insult to Nigerians and taxpayer's money? If you spend millions to send your child to school and at the end of the day your child cannot spell her name won't you be angry with the school? Honestly I just wonder if some of you went to school at all! 1 Like |

Image123:My brother both the BVAS and IREVs was to help in the election transparency. Nobody is complaining that the final election collation is done manually but before it is done manually, INEC should have made available the IREVs as promised for proper tracking of results so submitted by each state returning officer. Asking parties to take their grievances to court, which can easily be done during collation and even safe the integrity of the commission that truly its conducted free and fair election. We cannot continue to doing the wrong thing and asking people to go to court. It's not done anywhere in the world. The system will first ensure they did the best to ensure all parties are satisfied by the law they operate on. That language of saying go to court is annoying and sinister. There is no sin in doing the right thing but there is a sin doing the wrong thing and expect peace. |
Re: 83% Of Presidential And NASS Results Has Be Uploaded On INEC's Portal by Horllamideh(m): 7:38am On Mar 02, 2023 |
AbdulMagaji: Your first point is a bit untrue. BVAS checking and verification is solely done at/from the Ward level by Supervising Presiding Officers. Once BVAS information has been certified okay from Ward level, every collation is deemed correct. So there's no need for the INEC chairman to wait for BVAS uploading of results to be completed before doing his job. |

AbdulMagaji: That's pointless and meaningless. It's like waiting for your scanned NECO results to be uploaded to be given admissions when you already brought your original results to the school for clearance. i understand it's your first time. Pele, people who have been voting since the 70s and 80s participated in this election, ask them how stuff works. |

johnjay4u2u: What's wrong with you? With all that just happened, you still believe in elections? The Nigerian (s)elections? The Nigerian government is corrupt. Very corrupt. Didn't you see what happened in Rivers state? It's only a bloody revolution that can change Nigeria for the better...with the whole dirty, corrupt elite wiped out. It's only then that you could talk about election in a newer sense. |

Jorussia: See Bros, yeye dey smell. It doesn't take complex technology to snap a piece of paper and send it. This could easily have been done at the polling unit via email with a copy to the emails of the respective party agents. This could also easily have been uploaded on a telegram group or WhatsApp group hosting party agents and inec officials. Let no one make it sound like rocket science. The technology didn't work that day because it was not allowed to work. It was deliberately sabotaged. Simple! |

leisuretym:Credible Election has nothing to do with tribe. It has nothing to do with my tribe did not win. A candidate or party should win base on performance not rigging of Election. The suffering of Nigerians has nothing to do with one tribe. If you know you can't rig Election then it means you must perform for 4 years to return or else the ppl vote you out. Imagine a failure like Buhari had 8 years with zero performance...or do you want to tell us he is also the best president in the history of Nigeria? |

Re: 83% Of Presidential And NASS Results Has Be Uploaded On INEC's Portal by Image123(m): 7:51am On Mar 02, 2023 |
IfnobeGod20: IREV should be made available by INEC but it still carries little weight. It's simple technology supposed to make things faster. It's just like scanning a certificate and uploading online. The original certificate/results have been received during collation. All party representatives like Dino Melaye and co were there at the collation center. They ALL know the truth and the results. If you watched, the INEC chairman asks them every single time if there was any comment, objections or problems. Nobody had a problem with the numbers or results, they know it is correct and signed by their agents. They only played sore losers by attempting to cancel the collation. It's a case of I didn't win, so let's make nobody winner for them. If they had any grievances with the results, they would have stated it with facts right there. But they decided to stage a walk out and make conference statements. The logical path that is next is the judiciary or tribunals, not their threat to burn down the country or incite violence. |

Axis313: SE got it then because of the situation then of try to stabilise the then nascent democracy by making all 3 major regions hold a stake, also the SE at the time overwhelmingly supported the winning party then which was PDP.......however,now the dynamics are different and other groups and regions are now also fighting to get the best positions zoned to them as much as possible. This is the conundrum the SE has found itself in 2023,they have lost out totally in the power equation by fully supporting obi and not APC that won as against the SS that has a bigger investment in the APC.......the only way in for SE again is if they can play the saraki game in 2015 by supporting someone they feel will best protect their interest against the one proposed by the ruling party. The majority party in the senate will have to present a senate president 1 Like |

Image123:This is more of after thought or just your own thought. You forgot that billions were appropriated for this purpose to develop an acceptable site to accommodate records of the election. If INEC could not do that, then, there is sabotage within the system to keep to the old rule and subvert the will of the people. Today, people are uploading different kinds of things into Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram and other social platforms. Please what stops INEC from hiring experts to develop site that can accommodate what they were expecting from just 774 wards and 176, 846 polling units and even expand it to accommodate two to three of its size. Please what is so difficult in that? We just to stop justifying failure. Nigeria is too big for us to be experiencing such abnormality with the brains of tech experts in Nigeria and even out the shore. |
