Why Magodo Residents Should Re-elect Gov. Sanwo-olu by Oluwabash(m): 4:00pm On Mar 03, 2023
My Dear Residents,
The Governorship Elections will hold in Lagos and other parts of the country on Saturday, March 11th, 2023.

I urge us all to come out to support and re-elect Mr. Babajide SanwoOlu, as Governor of Lagos State.

I recall how the Governor broke Protocol and stopped his EXCO Meeting to liberate us from the invasion and siege by the army of occupation by the Adeyiga & others, their sponsors, and other land speculators. He was insulted and humiliated by a mere CSP but he took everything in his stride to make sure our houses were not destroyed nor taken over and we did not pay any money for Ratification as canvassed by some residents.

He equally promised to create a magodo 3 to prevent land speculators from accessing the wetland through our estate.

Now is the time to repay his good deeds with our Votes.

Also recall how he, as the Incident Commander led Lagos State Health workers to fight Covid 19 pandemic. Lagos as an epicenter became a benchmark for Nigeria and the world for Covid management.

He has also promised to immediately open a mini FIRE STATION in Magodo, repair and rehabilitate some roads within the estate and become an active partner in our quest to build a functional and befitting RECREATION CENTER for the youth and other residents.

We have his promise to extend street lights to cover all arterial Roads in the estate.

I plead with you to let us all come out and Vote for Babajide SanwoOlu to continue to support our activities here in Magodo, it is a situation that calls for SELF PRESERVATION. We need him to finish what he started. As the wise saying goes ' the devil we know is better than an unknown Angel'. I would rather we pitch our tent with Babajide SanwoOlu than unknown and untested candidates.

Let us all conduct ourselves in a very decent manner on election day as we have always been known for in Magodo.

Thank you all for your support and understanding.

You don't need to write it here...

Take the bull. by the horn...

Go inside Magodo and tell them...

But this is the truth In Lagos state...

Most Yoruba people are living in the slum while Yiibo people are living In the best part of Lagos state

Yoruba ronu ...those landowners need to. have a rethink....sooner than. later .....the Lagos state will be out of Yoruba control if all these landlords and landowners don't have a re rethink

Most Yiibos live in the best parts of Lagos states like Surulere, Magodo, Banana Island, Park view estate, Atlamtic city, Millennium estate, Ajao Estate, Ikeja, most estates in Victoria Island, Lekki, Shonibare Estate, Chevron estate, Amen, and many more...
And you want them.to.believe that you own Lagos state ......Ha...!

I have traveled around the world... The best places are always reserved for the indigene while. foreigners take the rest but in Lagos state ...the indigene lives in slums while most Yiibos and foreigners live in good environment ....the indigene live in isale Eko, idumota, Mushin, Ikorodu, Badagry, Ojokoro, Abule Egba, Meran, Ajagnadi...and so. on...for those that don't know lagos state very well all. these places are dens of robbers and gangster lifestyles in Lagos state...

Also, most of the best companies are being occupies by foreigners...Most of the Jobs in blue chip companies are occupied by Foreigners ..the indigenous workers are Local council workers, Teachers, Lastma, KIA, LaWMA, VIO, And so many state jobs.....these jobs don't pay well...

In the US, and some. other sane country and state ,...You consider the indigene in your employment structure always...and this. law is there but some. of the Yoruba leaders are just bent on amassing ill-gotten wealth...

You cannot be living at the mercy of Yiibos in Lagos State and also tell.them.that you own Lagos State
And this is a bitter truth...even here on nairaland ...Yiibo give dole out while some jobless Yoruba will start posting their bank details....

And let me say here I'm not a Yiibo.person...i'm just sharing my concern here. Truth is bitter ....Yoruba people are the most Vulnerable ethnic group among the three major ethnic group we have in Nigeria....this is not the legacy late chief Awolowo built for us with his sweat, efforts and blood and life....

Yoruba Ronu.....Ma'gbagbe ilana omo Yoruba rere

Yoruba ronu

Bitter truth ...my yoruba brothers and sisters should. chew it and do something about it...or the whole culture and Yoruba race go.to.extinction one day

Carefully read this you ethnic bigot and learn.

Over the past 6days -We won, they won, I won - these two letter sentence rang out over a trillion times across Nigeria ; and it is set to keep sounding in our memory for some time as aggrieved parties have sworn to seek justice in the courts.

But here is a dangerous trajectory to this twist .
Lagos was won by Peter Obi of labour party. His votes first came from enlightened Yoruba , and then from the over 300 tribes from across the nation who call Lagos home.
There were few pockets of violence and voters intimidation (very very few). The thugs were out numbered and couldn't do much.

The actual rigging and vote manipulation took place peacefully at the collation centres..

I advice every lagosian to come out on the 11th March to vote , because you're even more secure than you previously were some few days ago .

But we noticed this trend..

Kwara Yoruba Muslim extremists, who lost their traditional system, Land and culture to the Fulani ,are and have infiltrated Lagos State.
They came with two things namely

(1) crude tribalism
(2) unrefined hate
(3) religious extremism and bigitory

They have singled out the Igbos and Hausa residents in Lagos for attack..
They are quite organised and belong to sinister online social gathering exclusively populated by them ,where they spew all kinds of vitriol and terror laced statements against fellow Nigerians.
These Kwara Muslim immigrants are so froward and so "in-your-face" to an extent that fellow Yorubas detest them and dissociate from them .

They are the real hoodlums .the people in the underworld of Lagos .they disrupt and corrupt everything and anything .

Although their various online social gathering and chats are being monitored and some individuals have been placed under some form of surveillance, we advice citizens of Lagos to help the police and DSS with any information they have about these dark forces [
