The lesson is always pray very very hard never never to have someone like Buhari as an ally or as a boss. The guy can never defend anybody. He will deny you faster than Peter denied Jesus Christ.

I used to think the sharpest brains in banking were at Zenith bank. Emefiele is challenging that view. How could he hitch his whole career, reputation and life after banking to a buhari that hasn't pretended he cares for nothing and no one but himself? A former Zenith bank MD to be so used and dumped? The funny part is that the buhari sef might not really want the policy but there's always a cabal that hijacks his powers and he just sits in silence while they destroy everything.

Now Emefiele has joined the list that includes Amaechi, Onu, Osinbajo etc of people who believed buhari had their backs but found out tragically that he didn't.
