They say, put power/ Money in your friends hand, then you will know who truly is a Friend.
This CBN cash redesign policy just showed it. Yes, the effect of the policy was really hard on us but most people went too far.
All overnight, people started selling cash even banks. Some sold cash up to 20% while some 50%.
As Nigerian, people now resulted to Bank Transfer/POS as means of payment. But seller whose owned POS, added exorbitant charges to the cost, if intend paying with POS/Transfer and not via cash.
A friend of my told me of his experience he had with his barber. Normally, the price for hair cut is N500, but since he had no cash, the barber who he has being patronizing for years now told him that he should pay N900 ( via bank transfer).
