So very early on Wednesday 1st March, a lot of us woke up to the news that Tinubu had won the presidential election. Unlike in previous elections since 1999 where inec announced results during the day. Why did inec suddenly change gear even when they could announce the final results during the next morning session? 4 Likes |

The same way you said "they could announce the final results during the next morning", is the same way they could announce it in the night too, which they did! There is no where in the constitution stated it can't be announced in the night, it doesn't have to be your way!!
