This should be transcribed nah. Any online source? I know the Binis must have been pushed out by a superior force hence the few left in Lagos who have even been yorubanised.

They still have some.
This isn't to discredit the Binis cos culturally, they are related to Yorubas and the reason why Oranmiyan became their King is still a mystery cos they claimed Oduduwa was from Benin which logically, they may be right.
However, Lagos is purely a Yorubaland.
As far back as between the 12-14th centuries, Oduduwa himself sent Oranyan to look for bar beach water in Lekki Phase 1 which he got for the cure of his grandpa's partial blindness.
Some Yorubas were there already and they were people that accompanied Oranyan to Lekki.
The meaning of Lekki is thick quick sand land (ile to ki).
Morseso, at a time, a Bini prince called Ado became first Oba of Lagos. He being a direct descendant of Oranyan made him a Yorubaman who intermarried with the Yorubas he met in Lagos to create the kingship lineage till today.
