In as much as Tinubu's victory at the polls is still being contested, he is still the president-elect and must be accorded that respect.

It is on the news that many soon to be ex-governors are already jostling for positions in Jagaban's cabinet. Of note is Ganduje wanting to be minister of FCT and El-Rufai wanting to be National Security Adviser (NSA). I don't have anything against their ambitions. It is well-deserved, as they stood firm to ensure Asiwaju's victory. My only grouse in that list is El-Rufai waiting to be NSA.

El-Rufai in his 8 years did well in infrastructure and is said to be a good manager of resources. However, he was nothing to write home about in security. In his time, the killings in Southern Kaduna worsened and he has didn't do much in the way of preventing reoccurrence of such killings and destruction in sections of Kaduna state where he has been governor. He was even know to pay money to the terrorists.

Secondly, he is the first governor to run with a same faith ticket in a state populated almost equally by the two major religions in Nigeria, thereby stoking the embers of religious intolerance. We might understand why Asiwaju went for the same Ticket, but what was El-Rufai's reason? And he also went ahead to ensure the stooges taking over from him also run same faith ticket. This shows a man who doesn't care about security and stealthily but surely enjoys the ethno-religious tensions stoked by such malicious intents.

Asiwaju Tinubu must not appoint El-Rufai as NSA. That position is too sensitive for an intolerant and power drunk person like the Kaduna state governor. He can manage money and resources and is great with infrastructure so should be appointed in a capacity where his strengths, not his ills, can be reflected.

EL RUFAI WOULD FIT PERFECTLY AS THE NSA....
HE WILL COMPLETE THE GOOD WORK HE HAS STARTED IN SOUTHERN KADUNA & NORTHEN NIGERIA.

HE WOULD BRING MORE FOREIGN
MERCENARY BANDITS TO EXPAND AND SEAL THE JIHAD PROJECT (ISWAP) FROM SOUTHERN KADUNA TO SOUTH WEST.. THEREBY CEMENTING THE YORUBA-FULANI POLITICAL MARRIAGE WHICH FFK IS VIGOROUSLY PROPAGATING.

Lol

Elrufai already made himself clear that he wants to spend time with his family. He is not going to be part of the incoming president

And because he will face the electorate of which I am part of, he definitely will make decisions after taking into consideration multiple factors including specially taking into consideration the feelings and thoughts of the electorate. Also, no, the president doesn't have the right to just appoint anybody he likes. He appoints people after they have met the conditions of the law and the yearnings of his close aides.

Don't write anyhow. Think through before you write things in public space.

Both of us know say that one na joke. He has his eyes on particular appointments. Isn't he the typical Nigerian politician again? There are even suggestions he wants to be president after Jagaban.

You are too bitter. And it borders on poor education. When people are this embittered it shows poor or complete lack of emotional control.

Yarimo, get a grip and get a life!

Another lout who doesn't believe in the democratic process. Tinubu remains president-elect except the court rules otherwise. This therefore guarantees every Nigerian the right to voice their opinion, even those who didn't vote Asiwaju.

How will you know when you don't understand democracy?
