Why then did jesus die?
If man still has to repent as a sinner before they can be saved, what’s the essence of jesus death?

God plan for man is to live eternally but the first man- Adam erred and disobeyed God's instruction which brought death on every man.

We have been given the power to become a child of God through our Lord Jesus Christ, so we believers are not slaves but sons and daughters. They were not perfect but Good for God. Yet, they have the ability to keep God's commandment if they wanted to. The woman was anxious to know what the devil said and not desirous. And the sins was attractive to her which leads to death.
