In every case like this the children should be allowed to practice both religions simultaneously as young kids. After'all Islam and Christianity are both same Abrahamic religion... So why not? Unless you are an intolerant religion extremist!! Which wouldn't make sense considering you married a Christian and vice-versa...

So... Let them pure innocent kids joggle the two religions for now, at least until they are old enough to make a final decision for themselves.

And trust me... The children already being fully familiar with both religions will give them the upper hand in making the best possible decision for themselves when the time comes( unlike most of us that didn't get to choose) so if you ask me? It's a win win for everyone... #solved.

ASARI SHOULD BETTER PUT IT THIS WAY, "I AM A MUSLIM BY NAME, MY TWO WIVES ARE CHRISTIANS BY NAME, WHILE WE HAVE CHILDREN WHO ARE PAGANS".
I AM DEFINITELY SURE THAT THE LIFE OF THOSE CHILDREN WILL NEVER REMAIN THE SAME AGAIN COS THEY HAVE ENDED UP IN A WRONG FAMILY. WE HAVE MANY OF SUCH CHILDREN IN THE SOCIETY, THEY ENDED UP CONSTITUTING NUISANCE INTO THE SOCIETY.

Asari Dokubo, you have done great exploits in Nigeria and particularly among the South South people, you are doing well kindly accept that fact first.

Your wifes and children are watching you and are most likely waiting on your for father's direction for living. You don't need to be confused but if it true then you will need to go away from home and family to somewhere nearby where you can pick up issues of life and communicate with your God and maker.

If you were a Christian I would have suggested you look for a prayer mountain where you will stay for say three to seven days prayers and spiritual support for you to receive directives from God Almighty. Many people from Rivers State are already familiar with the various prayer mountains in Nigeria SW.

Your observations concerning your children about religion selection should not surprise you as it is found in many his of type. ie Christian Muslim marriage. Many kalabari people are Christians too and you can tap ideas from them on your way forward.

You fears about the children are well founded. Kindly do the needful asap.
