Seven persons have been reportedly burnt beyond recognition while 18 people sustained varying degrees of injuries in a crash that occurred on Lagos-Ibadan expressway few metres after Sapade Bridge. The fatal crash involved a Toyota sienna marked BWR762PV and a Mazda bus with registration number BDN18 LG. The Sector Commander, Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, Ogun state command, Mr Ahmed Umar blamed the suspected causes of the fatal crash on excessive speed and Route violation on the part of the sienna bus who followed One way and collided with the Mazda bus and unfortunately there was fire outbreak. Mr Umar said the injured victims had been taken to a private hospital, Ogere for medical attention while some were taken to another health facility in sagamu. He advised cautioned motorists on the dangers of route violation and excessive speed. 1 Share
