The recent (s)election of a drug warlord as the leader of our dear country is a troubling development that has left many citizens feeling uneasy. While some may argue that his past should be left behind and that he has the potential to bring positive change, it is important to recognize the dangers of (s)electing someone with such a history. The (s)election of a drug warlord sets a dangerous precedent for our country, one that undermines the rule of law, human rights, and economic development

it is a concerning situation for our dear country. Here are some reasons why electing a drug warlord as a leader is a bad antecedent for our dear country.

1. Rule of law: A drug warlord is someone who has a history of disregarding the law and using violence and intimidation to get what they want. By (s)electing such a person as a leader, it sends a message that the rule of law is not important, and that those who break the law can still achieve high positions of power. This sets a dangerous precedent for the future, as it undermines the legitimacy of the justice system and encourages others to follow in the footsteps of the drug warlord.

2. Human rights: Drug warlords are known to be ruthless in their pursuit of power and wealth, often at the expense of human rights. (S)Electing such a person as a leader puts the human rights of the citizens at risk, as they may be subjected to violence, extortion, and other forms of abuse by those in power.

3. Economic development: Drug warlords are not interested in promoting economic development and growth, but rather in protecting their own illicit interests. This can hinder our country's economic development, as resources are diverted towards the interests of the drug warlord and away from investments that could benefit the country as a whole.

4. International reputation: (S)Electing a drug warlord as a leader would have serious implications for our country's international reputation. Other countries may view the (s)election as a sign that our country is unstable and not a reliable partner for trade or diplomatic relations. This can harm our country's standing on the global stage and have negative consequences for its citizens.

Nigeria cannot recover, there is nothing that can unite this country again. In my view this shithole is speedily approaching the clif.
Since eight years they took power the country has been on free fall and i am so happy the present man in charge is such a dummy, he doesn't know what to do. He is somewhere in dubai praying to what i don't know.

Everything has completely destroyed. I realized this country has gone to the dogs when I saw someone I hold in such high regard defend the drug lord; it was so revolting. Even more, he said that heroin and cocaine were medicines, and that there was nothing wrong with ASIWAJU transporting them to drug corporations in the US and other countries, and that majority of drugs we use contain cocaine, etc. I had never heard a take that was so stupid. I posed a straightforward question to him: "Would you hire a drug user or a drug dealer as the HOD in any department in your company? Guess what he said No? I retorted, "If you won't hire a drug user or addict as the head of your department in your company, no matter how seemingly competent, why then support a known and convicted drug lord to run the affairs of a country??" In the room, there was an eerie silence.

It's funny how tribalism causes people to compromise their essential principles. Because he is my brother and a resident of my clan, even if you recognize what is wrong, you choose to support it.

If Tinubu does not make some of you as scape goats, the rest of you will not stop wailing. I will strongly suggest to Tinubu to sue you to court where you will tender your evidence of his criminality and drug peddling. If you are not made to face the music, the rest of sore losers and wailers will not stop wailing like a dog.

But Tinubu has already been sued on this drug issue in the tribunal and is currently trying to explain his involvement in with drugs in court. Why not wait for the court to decide first before cursing everyone.

That has nothing to do with this campaign of calumny and persistent wailing. He needs to make some of you as scapegoats. Just like Obi is being destroyed in the tribunal.

He’s even late to the party. Their charge and bail attorneys are not contending that the Drug Godfather was not guilty of drug trafficking; rather, they are arguing that our courts lack the authority to prosecute the case because it occurred in the US. They should all quit deceiving their selves. They don't even know how to execute their job properly! Hahaha
