My own is that Binani, no matter how corrupt people are saying she is, should be voted in in Adamawa.
Let's see a 2nd female after Etiaba in Anambra, and a first elected female in Nigerian history.

No matter how corrupt some women are, let's be frank with ourselves, they are better at leadership, starting from the home, where they are mothers to their husbands. Women who are corrupt exist, but their statistics are not even up to half of male politicians.

Etiaba did remarkably well just under less than 3 months then, flagging off quite a number of projects. She conducted scholarship exams all throughout Anambra then to get the best, who would be funded at the tertiary levels.
God bless women for usπŸ˜ŠπŸ˜‡
So because she is a woman she should be voted, you even started your comment by saying no matter how corrupt people say she is. That tells your personality. Go to Adamawa state and see how governor Fintiri transformed the state. Good roads, bridges, early payment of salary etc.

You joke too much. How will Binani overturn close to 31,000 votes when there’s just 37,000 votes left to fight for? Mind you, many of these polling units are Fintiri’s strongholds. Besides, the voters turnout will not be more than 50% at best.
By the way, someone should not be voted just because you want to make history , it should rather be based on competence. Let’s leave sentiment aside.

The question actually, should be where is the Labor party, or are we saying that there are only 2 relevant political parties today in Nigeria?

Forget it. Her only chance could have been when the general election were conducted, with this separate supplementary the incumbent will deploy different arsenals couple with assistance from PDP party state. I wanted her to win but I doubt the possibility now. It's easier to win in general election than the supplementary.

My brother, Binani is not even corrupt compared to the governor who is facing EFCC prosecution and was even imprisoned by the court before his bail conditions were perfected.
He ruled as acting governor when he was the speaker and within 81 days of his rule, he embezzled N2 billion. Some Muslims will say Binani is a woman and is not supposed to rule over men. However, she is the present senator representing Adamawa Central. If she can be a senator, then she can be a governor.
The corruption allegation against her is that her husband was UBEC Executive Secretary and that he stole money even though he was never arrested by any of the anti corruption agencies or security agencies.

Reality does not favour her.

With the margin even if all voter vote for her she will not be able to meet up because the turnout will not be more than 30% at most
