I did my ND in Ogun state, the school name was Owu College of Technology, and the management of the school told us then that they are under a school called Grace polytechnic.

So, I run the program with then in the year 2017/ 2019. I completed my HND at federal polytechnic ilaro, and I ought to be in service already.

The problem now is I went to the jamb office in February to do my regularization, I meet with the jamb officer and she said my matric number had been used for another student, I thought she made a mistake while typing my matric number...

So, I brought out my statement of result to show but it was still the same thing.

I went back to owu tech to made a complaint, I was told to write a letter and I attached a copy of my statement of result to that letter.

Since February now there ain't been any solution, I meet with the rector and he said they're working it till now from February.
I really wish to go with the batch B for the nysc.

My people had been thinking that maybe I got rusticated while I was in school.


Please I really need help over this issue.

Involve a lawyer ASAP... some heads needs to role for this blunder meant to portray your image negatively and cause you emotional issues.. get a solicitor to compel the school to do the right thing, but be very sure you have your admission number with it and other records Available.

As the guy above has said, get the court involved. Also, make sure you have records of your grade and visual evidence of studentship cos emotions don't win in court.

Na wa o , some Nigeria schools no just get head.

Do well to go and clear yourself from the school, collect all your certificates and necessary documents. I saw similar thing in my set and some people couldn’t go for nysc immediately because someone was sharing their matric number.

Is the other person a graduate like you also? If there's a way to check that person's results, confirm if you went to school for the person, i.e if your results were assigned to the person, because I believe for the person to use your admission number, e mean say Na same year una enter

That means one of you was going to school for the other

You sef look the name of the school. An unrecognised institution claiming to be under another unrecognised institution.

Get a lawyer to write them ASAP. And hurry, you might just get there next month to find the whole school has been shut down

Involve a lawyer and post this on Twitter too, tags all necessary people, segalink etc and also the school Twitter account, rector etc... Drag them, and ask fellow Nigerians to help you retweet

Don't just go to school in order to have a sense of belonging as others..

If it's not a renowned school, you shouldn't be there, so as to avoid a situation like this...

You need a Barister on this issue if the school authority not talking necessary action on time

I had the same issue here in yaba tech which caused me a year.

I did my ND at yaba tech when I returned for my HND and they were doing screening for us the just told me that my math result was absent on Jamb portal. Omo my head don go. Thank God for one lecturer that know people at jamb then, the man is late now. Took me to several people there at jamb. And because their office is just opposite the school is was easy for me to reach.

He also took me to the school HOD who told me that there's nothing he can do put promised that once the issue is resolved they will admit me. But they couldn't resolve it till they wrote the first exam.

Later jamb told me that someone used my math result that was why I couldn't use it again. But they fixed it after more than 2 months.

This is a very avoidable problem but no thanks to the poor tech wing of the school
