Moved to iphone from Android last month after almost a decade. I had to go for 14 pro max. There are pros and cons

Pros
Super fast. No lag at all
You can open 1000 apps without any sign of slowing down
OLED display. Super clear screen
Images and videos are superb.
The iOS 16 interface is quite intuitive
Apple has a lot of safety and security features I like

Cons
Tooooo expensive
14 pro max is heavy. My hand dey pain me sef
Too many clicking steps to get things done unlike Android.
No back and forth swiping. You have to actively click back button
Bluetooth share with non iOS is a hassle
No room for gbwhatsapp and torrent app

Overall, I'm starting to get used to the interface. The phone is well built and clearly designed.
Well designed and intuitive with all these consšŸ˜‚

No lagging . Getting a new iPhone and restoring you last iCloud backup feels like nothing changes . All settings and apps automatically configured on new device

Lol. I just remembered those that say Mastercard or nothing.
Happy new month sir.
this isnā€™t wrong. Mastercard has generally more acceptability world wide compared to Visa and Verve (which is Nigerian)

Some of them may never get near the airport for any reason. It no longer does international transaction anymore over the web. It's more of a status card for them. Some can't even stand the lien that comes from a glitch during transaction processing.
Verve is failed or reversal immediately.

I am sorry you feel this way maybe you do not know what you are holding .

I am using an IPhone 14 Pro Max, and no s23 ultra can make me feel less. Oga my phone costs over a million Naira. We apple loyalists use the phone not for spec measuring that's something we leave to the loser nerds.

You need to understand what class means, buying a Ferrari doesn't make it the fastest car, leave such arguments to the losers the owners don't have time to discuss such rubbish as which car goes from 0.to 100 fastest.

I use iPhones because I am a successful man and I flow with what goes with my status.

I drink at rooftop bars even though I know the ground floor is cheaper not because I am foolish.

Maybe you were given your iPhone, you didn't buy it. I don't buy the most geeky thing because I am past that level. I don't use smart watches either even though they maybe expensive I use premium chronograph watches that aren't cheap .

Learn what class and status symbol means.

The problem is too many uneducated money misroad people in Nigeria who do not know what class means .

So don't tell me how you feel about the s23 whatever I do not care
I still donā€™t understand why we still have this iPhone vs android argument in this age and time. Itā€™s even more ridiculous each time I hear the joke ā€œI can customize my android easilyā€šŸ˜‚ Personally, I use both devices with each serving different purposes and canā€™t be interchanged but I just lean more towards the iPhone because it has become an integral part of me. Very soon, these kids would realize that thereā€™s more to life than cartooning and customizing and playing around with your phone screens and wallpapersšŸ˜‚ One even said he automatically presume that youā€™re a hookup girl or a yahoo boy once youā€™re holding an iPhone in 2023 ošŸ¤£
I used to be big on rooting, Imei tweeking, kernel flashing, patch installations and side-loading, paid apps google verification bypassing using apps like lucky patcher etc in the good old days but today, Iā€™ll be embarrassing my generation if those are still what Iā€™m thinking and doing at this my age and time. These days, Iā€™m not even interested in knowing a phoneā€™s ram/camera pixel and other configurations because I just feel like Iā€™m past that level alreadyšŸ˜‚
Just get a phone from a reputable brand (personally, mine are Apple, Samsung, Google and Xiaomi) then get yourself a DSLR camera and a good gaming laptop (doesnā€™t necessarily mean it will be used mainly for gaming but definitely going to serve your graphics-related task needs)
We use phones for different reasons and just like you, iPhones help complement my personality, my fashion, meaning that itā€™s more than a phone just the same way a premium wristwatch is not made to tell you time. Most android phones on the other hand just donā€™t fit well for this purpose even if they are more expensive. Also the erroneous notion that ppl buy and use iPhones for showoff is ignorant and often borne out of jealousy because there are many android smartphones that are far more expensive than the most expensive iPhone we have today. People need to realize that ppl donā€™t only buy expensive things just to showoff but that they buy things because they love to and also because they complement their being and personality. Buying and having a penchant for owning Rolls Royce doesnā€™t make it the best and fastest car there ever is.
These two phones (operating systems) serve different niches and itā€™s very wrong and ignorant to stereotype ppl as hookup girls and yahoo boys based on the type of phone they use.
Personally, I prefer using my iPhone because of its fluidity as well as the intentionality of its apps and of course, the security. You are very much less likely to have your data compromised by third party apps and software on an iPhone than android where everything goes. The restrictive nature of iOS makes it almost impossible to be victims of hacking and attacks which is one of the reasons why there are more loan shark apps and apps that can easily gain access to your sensitive information for androids than iPhones. Apps and their interface on IOS are just more smoother than they look on their android counterparts.
Another very important aspect of iPhones is their durability. It would amaze many that iPhones made some 7-8 years ago are still available today but same canā€™t be said of their android counterparts. Lastly, people need to realize that some of us just love buying things that are durable not minding the price. A man who buys and uses millions of Naira chronograph wristwatches made of precious stones and metal doesnā€™t do so because heā€™s a fool, he buys them because he understands what it means when something is called a timeless piece.

Mine was actually the opposite.
I once had an iPhone, but I didn't enjoy it so much.

I had to go for Android.

Currently using CAMON 20

I have used iPhone, but switched to Android, I know many Androids that are doing very well, some of us are just stuck with brand names.

We go for what works and appeals to us at the time.

lol...look at you... Ignoramus judging my age based on my d.p. That was a throwback picture!! I used iPhone 5s, 6s, 6splus ,8 and now iphone X. Would have proceeded using the bigger iphones but SAMSUNG got me on my balls.I guess you are not a heavy phone user. A user who often uses his phone for multiple tasks will agree with me.

Sincerely bros do you think there's any phone that beats iPhone in terms of camera?
I'm saving up to buy even if it's x or xs max cos I'm a fashion designer and a camera is one thing I need so bad!
I'm currently using Samsung A03 and the camera isn't good.

You can rate the camera from 1-10 when comparing.
Thanks

Samsung A03 na phone? That one a midrange phone meant to compete with the likes of Infinix in 3rd countries. Boss go buy better phone abeg

Pixel 3, I mean pixel 3xl beats 11 pro for camera. Tested and Verified

and Iā€™m telling you that an iPhone is not part of that class symbol, an iPhone is easily and readily available to whomever wants it, and itā€™s actually the most used phone among young people who are actually struggling. Your point about class is moot and certainly a very silly opinion of yours. Who goes ā€œwow, this person is using the latest iPhoneā€ certainly not people with class as you put it. Iā€™d even wager, a Samsung s23 ultra has more class than an iPhone currently and isnā€™t readily available to people except those with class. Like I said , a phone is your choice and used for productivity. You are living in your own bubble and trying to sound and feel funky. Here comes ā€œnofƻćktogiveā€ the unknown individual with class and one using an iPhone. šŸ™ŒšŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ»šŸ™ŒšŸ». Nigerians are funny.

The guy just dey feel fly

How iPhone take become class?
